Student Successes

In addition to her own acting career, Alyssia enjoys coaching other actors, helping them prepare for auditions, and putting them on tape for auditions in other cities. Many of Alyssia’s students have booked roles from the audition tapes that she coached and taped them for. She has even taped Shantel Van Santen (One Tree Hill, The Messengers, and Final Destination), Daniel Franzese (Mean Girls, War of the Worlds), Shemar Moore (S.W.A.T., Criminal Minds), and Chelsea Ricketts (Scream Queens, The Killing, True Blood). She’s worked extensively with Allie DeBerry, formerly a regular on Disney Channel’s Ant Farm and David Simpson, who’s appeared in Scream Queens, American Horror Story: Freak Show, Bad Moms, Preacher, and Wolverine. She’s also had students book roles from their taped auditions with her, such as the Emmy nominated HBO film, Bessie, Left Behind, We Are The Millers, Daddy’s Home, One Mississippi, Hoovey, Eastbound and Down, and many more! She looks forward to continuing growing as an actor and acting coach and working with as many of Houston’s up and coming actors as she possibly can! She believes strongly that Texas has some amazing talent and that our region offers a plethora of opportunities for actors looking to work in the film, television, and commercial industry. So if you love it, then go after it! The opportunity to thrive is at your finger-tips!
